The sand play area has been a favourite, with children using diggers, buckets, spades and other tools to explore, create and work together. Small world figures and imaginative play have encouraged storytelling, problem-solving and social interaction, helping children to develop important communication skills while having fun. <span>  </span> </span> </p> </div> <div> <img src="https://irp.cdn-website.com/8bc22852/dms3rep/multi/3b9fc188-541a-4371-9392-907191337845.jpeg" alt=""/> </div> <div data-rss-type="text"> <h3> <span> Learning Through Play <br/> </span> </h3> <p> <span> When the weather has been less favourable, we have continued our learning indoors through a variety of engaging activities. The children have enjoyed construction play using magnetic tiles, building towers, houses and imaginative creations while developing their creativity and fine motor skills. </span> </p> <p> <span> <br/> </span> </p> <p> <span> We have also been practising our early mathematics skills through matching quantities to numbers, counting activities and number recognition games. These activities help to build strong foundations for future learning and support children’s confidence with numbers in a fun and interactive way. <span>  </span> </span> </p> </div> <div data-rss-type="text"> <h3> <span> Upcoming Events <br/> </span> </h3> <p> <span> We have several exciting events coming up over the next few weeks. </span> </p> <p> <span> <br/> </span> </p> <p> <strong> Father’s Day </strong> </p> <p> <span> <br/> </span> </p> <p> <span> Father’s Day takes place on Sunday 21st June, and the children have been busy preparing some special creations to celebrate the important dads and father figures in their lives. Keep an eye out for their wonderful surprises and heartfelt gifts. </span> </p> <p> <span> <br/> </span> </p> <p> <strong> National Thank a Teacher Day </strong> </p> <p> <span> <br/> </span> </p> <p> <span> Wednesday 17th June marks National Thank a Teacher Day. It is a wonderful opportunity to recognise and celebrate the dedication, care and enthusiasm shown by teachers and early years practitioners every day. We are incredibly grateful to our fantastic team for the positive impact they have on our children’s learning and development. </span> </p> <p> <span> <br/> </span> </p> <p> <strong> Looking Ahead </strong> </p> <p> <span> <br/> </span> </p> <p> <span> As we approach the end of the summer term, we are preparing for our end-of-term celebrations on 15th July.
